Easier install as well as being easy to climb up on and inspect. You will also be able to clean your rain gutters and siding much more easily.
you will be able to make use of the space once the roof has been completed. For example, you could install solar panels, plant a roof top garden or set out some tables and chairs for a rooftop patio.

Resistance to damage and it can last for over 30 years, which means you receive good value for your money.
Surface offers less resistance to the wind compared to angled roofing systems, which is ideal in a windy and stormy climate.
Installing a flat roof membrane can be a challenge even for the most proficient person. So you’ll want to be certain you’ve chosen the right flat roofing membrane for the job, and you certainly won’t want to keep making repairs over the years.
A one piece EPDM rubber roofing membrane is the perfect solution for any flat roof. Green Mineral Dormer Roof
Torch on felt flat roofing systems are laid on plywood decking comprise of 3 layers: a vapour control membrane, a thin layer of reinforced felt called the underlay and finally a thicker layer of felt called a cap sheet where the underside has been treated with a covering of bitumen. This bitumen covering is heated with a propane gas torch as the felt is unrolled and applied to the roof surface while it is still hot in order to weld all three layers together.
There are a few options regarding finishing touches:
The plain black bitumen finish is ideal for adding a solar reflective paint finish.
A mineral fleck finish is available in slate grey, green, brown and blue.
Walk way tiles can be added if your flat roof is positioned where you require pedestrian access.
Limestone chippings can also be applied.
All of our flat roofs are installed with mineral edging as standard which give a neat appearance by hiding the edges of the felt.
GRP (Fiberglas Polyurethane)
Continuous testing of glass reinforced plastic (GRP) roofs have shown that we should expect the laminate to last 50 years plus compared to the ten years a felted roof will last if your lucky, also as GRP Fibreglass roofs are cold applied the need to use dangerous tar pots and blow torches has been removed.
A GRP / Fibreglass flat roof is a single ply GRP laminate consisting of roofing resin and chopped strand mat reinforcement applied in situ over a good quality deck. The roof is finished with pre-formed GRP edge trims and a coat of pre-pigmented topcoat available in standard grey or any colour in the BS400 range.
